The Story Behind the Mark Series: Sculptural Furniture

Over the past year, I’ve been quietly developing a new creative direction—designing sculptural furniture that merges art and function. The result is the Mark Series, a limited-edition collection of handcrafted chairs rooted in the same visual language I use in my paintings.

Each piece in the series—starting with The Tall Dining Chair and The Lounge Chair—is built like a three-dimensional brushstroke. I think of them not just as functional objects, but as art-inspired furniture that reflects the rhythm and repetition in my abstract work.

As a Bangkok-based furniture designer, I wanted these forms to feel bold and meditative, made with intention and care. Like my paintings, they are quiet but confident, meant to bring calm and presence to the spaces they inhabit.

If you’re interested in seeing the chairs in person or scheduling a private viewing at my studio in Sathon, Bangkok, please reach out to me here.
