At the
Threshold

At the Threshold is a body of work exploring the emergence of the human figure through layered, process-driven painting on raw canvas. The works develop a visual language for the way memory actually behaves: partial, accumulative, emotionally vivid, and resistant to clarity. The figures that emerge are never fully resolved. Built slowly through repeated brushwork absorbed directly into the canvas, the subjects stand at the edge of recognition.
